About
Us
“Providing
the means and opportunity for Aboriginal residents of the
North End to become directly and meaningfully involved in
renewal efforts within their community, to build capacity
and to continually develop leadership roles within these efforts.”
Aboriginal
Visioning was created to address the need for a renewal project
that incorporates and honours the ideas of community members
at a grassroots level. Aboriginal Visioning is simply the
vehicle for a strong and united Aboriginal voice in the North
End of Winnipeg.
All of
our programming is created and led by community members. By
working alongside the community we create strong relationships
and leadership as we work towards the common goal of a healthier
and more holistic neighbourhood.
